Commitment
Plan B Business treats web accessibility as a basic value and works to make this site usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. The site aims to meet Israeli Standard 5568 - which is based on WCAG 2.1 - at Level AA, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. Accessibility is implemented directly in the site's code and design, without relying on external add-ons that can themselves interfere with the user experience.
What we have done
Semantic HTML (headings, landmark roles, lists) for accessible screen-reader navigation; ARIA labels (aria-label, aria-labelledby) on interactive elements and complex regions; colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and at least 3:1 for large headings, per Level AA, with deviations checked and fixed on an ongoing basis; full keyboard navigation of all main functions (Tab, Enter, Escape); responsive design that works at any screen size, including zoom to 200% without loss of content; native RTL support, since the site was built right-to-left from the start; alt descriptions on all meaningful images; and a "skip to content" link at the top of every page.
No accessibility overlay
The site does not use a third-party accessibility overlay. Accessibility is built into the code and the design, an approach that gives a consistent, reliable experience with existing assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver. We believe real accessibility comes from good structure, not from a layer bolted on top.
What is still in progress
The site is under ongoing accessibility maintenance. Through 2026 we are working on: accessibility of complex content such as tables and charts; detailed alt descriptions for all new images; completing contrast adjustments on secondary screens and in button hover states; and running regular accessibility testing with both automated tools and real users. Some interactive tools inside the academy may still have accessibility issues we are actively resolving, and embedded third-party content (video players, payment processors) is subject to those vendors' own accessibility standards. Please report anything you run into and we will address it as quickly as we can.
